The Beer Manufactory Engel is currently producing its 5th generation of speciality beers, with specially selected ingredients, using a traditional, pressure-free, 7 day fermentation process, and a 6 week storage time at 0° C (32° F).
The result is the distinctive mature taste of our Engel beer specialities that form their carbonic acid naturally in deep storage cellars.
The brewery's current owner, Wilhelm Fach, understands how to combine old recipes with state-of-the-art brewing technology.
Our mission statement is best summed up by 'Customer Proximity, Service and Personal Contact".
Friendly ties to our family have enabled us to supply many generations of customers, some for over 100 years. This personal contact is our guiding principle, now and for the future, and distinguishes us from the large brewing combines.
We will continue to refrain from mass-production, and we will put in all our efforts to brew speciality beers of the highest quality.
